Whitland's latest dairy sale

It was a pleasure to sell the reduction entry from the Thomas family, Cildywyll along with another consignment of youngstock from the Phillips family, East Regwm this Tuesday gone. An entry of 24 really well presented cows and heifers came from Cildywyll and in the current climate there was what I would consider as competitive a trade as you would see anywhere. Top prices of £1680 (pictured above) and £1620 (below) were seen and a more than respectful average of £1408 was achieved. Incalf heifers saw a top price of £1120 and averaged £930. Whitland dairy sales have been able to report excellent trade from the first sale held back in March of this year and each sale has been supported by a good number of loyal buyers.
